Holy Family University’s Second Degree Distance Hybrid Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Accelerated BSN online) is designed to prepare you for nursing licensure in just over a year through an immersive, hybrid program. The coursework is 100% online. A week-long campus residency in your first semester builds hands-on clinical skills in our high-tech simulation lab and provides an opportunity to demonstrate competencies and collaborate with faculty and students.
This program is only for those who reside in Pennsylvania (excluding the following counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, & Philadelphia), Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Vermont.
We provide comprehensive, end-to-end support services from enrollment to graduation, including exam preparation—our NCLEX-RN pass rates are above the national average (89.87%). A dedicated clinical placement team helps you find preceptors and clinical sites in your community, saving you time to focus on your education, succeed in the program, and thrive as a new nurse.

Holy Family University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and undergoes periodic reviews to maintain its accreditation. The latest MSCHE reaffirmation self-study was conducted in 2020, and the MSCHE Committee conducted a site visit in the spring of 2021.

The BSN program is approved by the PA State Board of Nursing. Holy Family University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and undergoes periodic reviews to maintain its accreditation.
This 14-month program is intended for full-time study and consists of both synchronous and asynchronous sessions. Students should not expect to work while enrolled in this rigorous program.
Our online ABSN program costs $800 per credit hour (plus fees). Financial aid may be available to our online students.
